Our biltong is based on traditional South African recipes, made from Australian grain fed beef and cured with our unique in-house spices and family secretes. Biltong is preserved with salt and vinegar. Various quantities is available from 100g up.
Biltong is a traditional South African cured meat. Our Biltong is made from pure beef. It is typically made from raw fillets of meat cut into strips following the grain of the muscle. Similar to beef jerky in that they are both spiced, dried meats, but differ in their typical ingredients, taste and production process. The word biltong is from the Dutch word meaning (“rump”) and tong (“strip”).
